We had, in my opinion, two great games on Sunday to determine who would make it to Super Bowl 58. That is, unless you were a fan of either of the teams that lost. Or someone with a heart and a soul. Or someone who's sick of seeing Travis Kelce or Taylor Swift on your screens 24/7. Aside from all that, the quality of each of the conference championship games was very good, especially in the NFC Championship. I'll break down both games, give my thoughts on what happened, and make my early predictions for the Super Bowl today. âKansas City Chiefs - 17 Baltimore Ravens - 10

If, like me, you were a bit disappointed by the games in Wild Card weekend, I think you were much happier about the competitiveness of this weekend's matchups. Only one of the four were decided by more than one score. And although the favorites won three of the four contests, the games themselves were much more tightly contested. I'm going to talk about each game that took place in the Divisional round, as well as give my projections for the conference championship games this upcoming Sunday. We'll go through in chronological order, beginning with the early game on Saturday. Houston Texans - 10 Baltimore Ravens - 34
As much as I want to hype up an amazing weekend of playoff football we all got to witness, am I alone in thinking that these first round games were, for the most part, underwhelming? I mean, only one of the six games ended with less than a 14-point margin. There were blowouts galore in the Wild Card weekend, which I don't remember being the case in recent seasons. Still, regardless of how the games played out, there are plenty of storylines to discuss from each game of Wild Card Weekend. So I'm going to go through all six games and give my thoughts about what went down over the last three days in the NFL. Cleveland Browns - 14 Houston Texans - 45
The NFL playoffs kick off tomorrow, and I wanted to give my picks for who I think will win each game in the Wild Card round and beyond this postseason. It's been a fascinating regular season where it feels like a lot of these playoff teams have looked both really good and really bad at times. Therefore, predicting these games wasn't very easy. I had to rely on my gut feeling more than past performance, because everything changes once playoff football begins. |
