We're now essentially at the halfway point in the season, and this NFL season has been filled with chaos. Just this past week, alone, the Bills lost to the terrible Jaguars and the Cowboys were stomped by the Broncos. Who imagined that the Chiefs would only be able to barely squeak by the Aaron Rodgers-less Packers or that the Giants, Jets, and Jags would have already combined for seven wins on the year? I won't even mention the insanity that has struck Las Vegas in the last month. âYour team may or may not be performing to your (or the masses') expectations so far this season, but almost every team still has somewhat of a shot at the postseason. Especially in the AFC. Take a look at how crazy the AFC standings are right now. The Titans are leading the conference at 7-2 followed by just one other 2-loss team. Then you have EIGHT teams sitting at either 5-3 or 5-4. I mean, the AFC is still as wide open as it could be. The top NFC teams seem to be much tougher than their cross-conference counterparts but I think there's a significant drop off after the top four teams in that conference as well. The season is sure to have a thrilling second half filled with parity, so I'm very excited to see how things play out. But for now, let's see where each team stands after week 9 of the NFL season. As always, each team has their change from my previous rankings three weeks ago next to their name. 1. Arizona Cardinals (8-1) - No Change (NC) Week 8 Result: W, 31-17 at 49ers Next Up: vs. Panthers
