NCAAF - SEC Bets - Week 7

Week 6 was a week of blowouts in the SEC for the most part, with only two games being decided by a touchdown or less.  Tennessee, Mississippi State, Georgia, and Ole Miss were dominant against their conference foes, while Florida held off a late Missouri charge and Alabama barely hung on to win with a backup quarterback at home against Texas A&M.  Props to Shane Beamer and South Carolina for knocking off Will Levis-less Kentucky, who has now dropped two games in a row and has fallen down to #22 in the AP poll just two weeks removed from being in the top 10.

There's currently a split decision atop our leaderboard as Jacob and myself have scored identically in all three categories through six weeks of the SEC football season.  However, Micah and Ryne still hold their leads against the spread and the point total, respectively.  I have to mention that there was a scoring correction made this week that went back to the Florida-South Florida matchup in Week 3.  My Excel spreadsheet formula accidentally gave an over/under win to Alex, Micah, Ryne, and myself on what should have been a push, while Jacob was given a loss.  To correct that, I had to remove one win from the four of us and take away one loss from Jacob.  There was heavy drama in our group chat from one party in particular following this completely rational and sensible move.  This potential rebellion has been quelled and we are asking for the public to please stop the #EquateGate chants outside of our offices across the globe.

We have six games to pick in Week 7, headlined by the highly anticipated matchup of #3 Alabama at #6 Tennessee.  While some of the other early games may get a bit ugly, this game is expected to be the most hype game of the season so far in all of college football.  Following that contest, we should also get two more solid night games with LSU at Florida and #16 Mississippi State at #22 Kentucky.
