We had a relatively light series of SEC games in Week 5, but it was still full of action. Ole Miss pulled off a major win at home against Kentucky to kick things off. Alabama and Mississippi State routed Arkansas and Texas A&M, respectively, though the Tide may have some problems depending on the severity of Bryce Young's shoulder injury sustained in their game. LSU mounted a comeback victory in an ugly game in Auburn, and Missouri had top-ranked Georgia on the ropes for the whole game before the Bulldogs managed to pull it out at the very end.
I still maintain the overall lead in our BSSR SEC Bets Challenge after five weeks of the season, as well as a tie with Jacob for first on the money line and with Ryne in bets on the point total. Micah still holds the lead against the spread, while Alex's point spread bets have forsaken him at this point in the season.
There's still plenty of time for everyone to catch up as we have seven games to pick here in Week 6.
