Week 3 of the SEC football season wasn't a particularly good one in terms of the watchability of the games, as only two of the nine matchups we picked were decided by fewer than ten points. However, we did learn quite a bit about some of the teams in the league. For example, Georgia is definitely really, really good, Florida is near the bottom of the league in terms of offensive production, and Auburn's whole football program is a train wreck. As we move forward, we'll continue to see separation between the elite three or four teams and the rest of the pack.
As Alex said in an informal message to the rest of the BSSR crew, "Ryne is putting on a clinic, eh?" While he is not, in fact, Canadian, Alex does raise a good point. Ryne is performing very well early in the season, jumping out to an overall lead off the back of a particularly strong start on his point total predictions. The rest of us will have to play catch up to some degree, but there's still a ton of time left in this 2022 SEC football season.
