College football is finally back everyone, as 22 teams will kick off their seasons this Saturday in what is commonly known as Week 0 of the NCAAF season. Only one of those teams belongs in the SEC, but that still means we'll get our third annual Bucket Squad SEC Betting Challenge rolling this week. I wrote an article earlier this week giving a breakdown of our 2021 betting contest, which (spoiler alert) was won by Jacob for the second season in a row. If you're interested in the full statistical analysis I ran on our collective picks from last season, you can check that out here: https://www.bucketsquadsportsreports.com/betting/ncaaf-sec-betting-2021-season-recap As always, the five BSSR experts will each give our bets on the money line, against the spread, and for the point total over/under each week for every single game an SEC team is participating throughout the season. To start our challenge out in 2022, we'll only be picking one game featuring a team that some people question if they should even still be a part of the SEC: Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt at Hawaii (VANDY -8.5, O/U 54.0) Stay tuned for next week's SEC Bets article when we'll have a full slate of games to pick in what will be every other SEC teams' highly anticipated season openers.
